Beyonce’s had her baby! And she’s called her Ivy Blue Carter…

Yes, apparently that really is what Jay Z and Beyonce have called their little one, who came into this world last night via caesarean section.

She was born at Lenox Hill hospital in New York, where Beyonce checked into the under the name of Ingrid Jackson and booked out the medical facility's entire 4th floor costing her a cool $1.3million.

Though the happy news hasn't been confirmed by the couple themselves, pals of the two have taken to Twitter to congratulate them including Rihanna (who said: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.") and Russell Simmons (who Tweeted: "congrats to my good friends Beyoncé and Jay-Z")

So, Ivy Blue Carter? It's certainly unique, we'll give them that much. As far as celeb baby names go, it could've been a lot worse (see what Bear Grylls called his kids for instance).
