It's not like Katy Perry to keep quiet about matters close to the heart, so we're surprised it's taken her this long to speak out about her split from husband Russell Brand.
However, she finally decided to do so last night when she took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support. She also warned her followers not to believe everything they read concerning the break up. She said:
'Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, "close sources" or my family.'
So we guess that means this definitely isn't true then?
