Last week Sarah Harding spoke out about her New Years Day row with ex-boyfriend, Theo De Vries and while we can't be bothered to go into every ghastly detail again (once was enough, but click here if you'd like to read her version of events) she basically accused him of attacking her.
Well, Theo is having none of it and has angrily responded telling The Mirror:
"The way things finished with Sarah really angered me. I don't like the way she's made me look like a woman beater when I'm not."
The 35-year-old explained how Sarah cut short their holiday when she decided things weren't working out between the:
"When she left, I deleted all trace of her off my phone – texts, pictures, everything. I thought I'd never see her again."
But the former Girls Aloud singer returned to their hotel when her flight was cancelled and asked Theo if they could spend New Years Eve together. This was when their violent fight erupted.
Theo explained: "I'd taken a glass of wine to the room and not even finished it. I said 'Sarah, I can't believe how Tom had a relationship with you. Now I know why you broke up.'"
This comment sparked a rage in Sarah and Theo claims this was when she threw a metal fruit bowl at his head.
"She claimed I was rubbing my blood all over her face which is not true. My blood was dripping on to her face as I held her down to try to control her. I was shouting, 'Sarah, stop it.'
"She was still screaming so I dragged her by the arm, with her standing, into the bathroom. I pulled the door shut with me on the other side and tried to jam a chair against it so I could get out of there. She was acting crazily."
He then caught a taxi to the airport when police stopped him for questioning before allowing him to fly home.
