I am a firefighter. My father is a firefighter, my brother is a firefighter, and my grandfather was a firefighter. It's just something my family does. It's like being handed a responsibility when you come of age to rescue the frightened and in-danger. I never even blinked twice when I graduated high school and became a member of station 12. I knew from the day I understand what the job meant that I would one day fight fires. That's why I was pretty pumped when I found a Website that sold nothing but awesome fireman tees.
September 11th 2001 was hard on all Americans, and it was especially difficult for firefighters. We had to watch our brothers and sisters in arms sacrifice themselves to save the lives of those in need, sometimes without even saving a single soul. It was the second time I had seen my father cry openly in my whole life. I bought my father and I 9/11 commemorative fireman shirts that I know we'll both wear with pride.
Even though I was too far away and too removed to be personally impacted by anyone who died when the towers fell, I have lost people close to me in the line of duty. These are friends who I have broken bread with and shared many laughs. Fire is hateful and burns everyone who makes the slightest mistake, and smoke is even worse. I bought a couple of fireman tees with those friends in mind specifically, and I will remember them each time I wear one.
I suddenly realize I'm turning this review of an online shirt site into a morose look at some pretty dark times in my past, but that's not how it is for the vast majority of the time. Most of the time being at the station feels like being with family, and we work in a community that really appreciates us. I found some really light-hearted fireman t-shirts for us to wear at fund-raising and community events that are going to get some smiles, for sure.
After I finished ordering all of these awesome fireman tee shirts, I got a little nervous. I don't order things online very often, so I immediately started regretting it. Much to me satisfaction, though, the shirts arrived very quickly and they were all of excellent quality and fit awesomely on me. I know lots of firemen, and all of them are really going to enjoy ordering shirts from this place.
