Antony Worrall Thompson caught shoplifting in Tesco…

Have you ever used one of those self-service checkout thingy's in a supermarket? And while doing so have you ever thought how easy it would be to slip a couple of extra items in your bag? Of course you have, we all have, but we don't do it and do you know why? Because we're good people with morals and we know it would be wrong. Don't worry, we're going somewhere with this… 

Antony Worrall Thompson has been arrested at Tesco supermarket in Henley-on-Thames for shoplifting cheese and wine on five separate occasions in the last 16 days.

The celebrity chef reportedly slipped extra items into his shopping bags while using the self-service checkout and after spotting what he was up to security guards at the store alerted the police.

A source said: "He was ordering blocks of cheese at the deli counter, taking bottles of wine, then putting some things through the scanner but walking out with the rest.

"They caught him on camera doing it more than once, but had to be 100 per cent sure it was not a genuine mistake before apprehending him. Because of his high profile, the security staff could not afford to get it wrong."

Oh for shame, Antony Worrall Thompson, for shame.
