Last night, on the eve of her 30th birthday, Kate Middleton and Prince William braved the rain to attend the UK premiere of War Horse at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square.
It was the first time the royal couple have walked the red carpet together at a film premiere and Princess Catherine didn't disappoint in the style stakes, opting for a floor-length black lace dress, which accentuated her slim figure.
Speaking at last night's event, War Horse director Steven Spielberg said:
"I am delighted that the UK Premiere of War Horse is in aid of 'The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry' and that this special occasion is attended by two of the patrons, Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge."
He added, "We are honoured to dedicate this event in aid of the Foundation which recognises the welfare of those who serve their country in the British Armed Forces."
Speaking of the British Armed Forces, more than six hundred serving and ex-serving military personnel and their families received invites for last night's premiere, while a few of the Made In Chelsea crew also made an appearance.
