Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen at war… AGAIN!

You'd think new mum Lily Allen (now Lilly Cooper) would be too busy getting to grips with nappy changes and baby bottles to have the time to get her claws out for another celebrity cat fight. But no, Mrs Cooper is in the ring and surprise-surprise it's none other than Cheryl Cole who has been subject to her latest rant.

The singer who has kept a relatively low profile since getting married last year took to Twitter to dig at the Girls Aloud band mate after reports emerged that Chezza's friend and fellow band member Sarah Harding had been charged with assault after a bust up with her ex-boyfriend Theo De Vries, 35.

Lily Allen tweeted:  "40% of Girls Aloud will have been charged with assault." Lily is referring to Cheryl Cole's 2003 conviction of assaulting a toilet attendant.

Showbiz journalist Dan Wooton criticised Allen for her remarks claiming that they came from 'an irrational hate for Girls Aloud' to which Lily replied: "Errrr inaccurate! I LOVE Girls Aloud, 'Promise' is mine and Sam's song." Cheryl wasn't convinced and unfollowed Lily shortly after her tweet.

This wouldn't be the first time Cheryl and Lily had a war of words.  In 2007 Lily called Cheryl a 'stupid bitch' and claimed she needed 'auto tune' to sing, to which Cheryl retaliated by labelling Lily 'a chick with a dick'.
