Jason Derulo is forced to cancel world tour after fracturing his neck!

The teen heart throb and US RnB star Jason Derulo has fractured his neck after an accident while he was rehearsing for his up coming world tour. 

The talented dancer fell directly on his head during rehearsals leaving him with an acute fracture on his vertebrae and just about escaping paralysis.

Jason, 22, was rushed to hospital in Florida where he was treated and told he would have to wear a neck brace for the following months.

Jason took to Twitter to tell his fans "I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain?;)"

Jason then took to his Facebook page to leave this message: "My injury is called a 'Hang Man's Break' because it is the same bone that is broken when someone is hung! I am so blessed to still be here! 95% of ppl with the same injury end up paralyzed or gone. Everything happens for a reason. Traumatic experiences can change you for the better. My outlook on life is much clearer! Don't forget what's important. Life is short so do it today, tomorrow could be a day too late!

We sure hope Jason gets well soon – who else will keep us entertained with their body locking, spinning around and T-shirt ripping performances?
