Kate Winslet's Chic 2012 Golden Globes Arrival

All prettied up for the red carpet festivities, Kate Winslet turned up for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 15).

Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Mildred Pierce" actress donned a black and white combo ensemble as she worked through the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky ceremony.

Top contenders this time around include "The Artist" with six bids for glory while "The Help" and "The Descendants" follow closely behind with five apiece.

Along with selecting the tops in cinema, the show also chose Morgan Freeman to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for career achievement.
