Paula Patton Brightens Up the 2012 Golden Globe Awards

All prettied up for the red carpet festivities, Paula Patton turned up for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 15).

Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" actress sashayed through the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky ceremony.

Not just a mere spectator, Miss Patton happens to have the important task of announcing one of the night's esteemed winners while doting the triumphant nominee with their trophy.

Top contenders this time around include "The Artist" with six bids for glory while "The Help" and "The Descendants" follow closely behind with five apiece.

As for the ceremony, Ricky Gervais is the host of the Golden Globe Awards - which air live on NBC beginning at 8PM ET/PT.
